200th member joins TEAC

Roberts Wesleyan College of Rochester, New York, has become the 200th member of TEAC. Membership includes 185 institutions of higher education — 88 are already accredited and 83 are candidates for accreditation. TEAC also enjoys the membership of 13 affiliate institutions and 16 professional associations who support the TEAC process of accreditation.

TEAC’s 11th Year Status Report features 199 members and 110 accredited programs

TEAC begins its 12th year with 199 members composed of 183 institutions and 16 professional associations. It has accredited 110 programs in 88 institutions of higher education across 21 states and has 82 institutions currently pursuing accreditation for their programs.

Evaluating Educator Preparation Programs Featured at Academic Audit Research SIG Sessions

The Academic Audit Research SIG sessions at the 2010 AERA Annual Meeting in Denver featured a high level of interest in and discussion about some of the challenges involved in creating and evaluating a coherent educator preparation program. [See session highlights.]
