TEAC BOARD AMENDS ACCREDITATION TERMS

November 29th, 2011

The TEAC Board of Directors revised TEAC’s policies relating to the length of accreditation terms so that, beginning with accreditation decisions made in 2012, programs that submit an Inquiry Brief and satisfy TEAC’s Quality Principles will be awarded accreditation for seven years (instead of the former accreditation terms of five years and ten years). Five-year terms of initial accreditation will continue to be awarded to programs that satisfy Quality Principles II and III in an Inquiry Brief Proposal.
