Under the reorganized TEAC system, Quality Principle I, evidence of candidate learning (1.1-1.3) includes as before the cross-cutting themes (now numbered as 1.4), but now includes as well evidence of reliability and validity of the assessments (numbered as 1.5).

Quality Principle II – evidence of faculty learning, inquiry, and quality control (formerly Quality Principle III) – now includes the rationale for the assessments (2.1), and retains evidence of the faculty’s decisions that were based on inquiry (2.2), and a demonstration that the quality control and monitoring system yields valid evidence, influences policies and decision-making, and promotes inquiry (2.3).

Quality Principle III (formerly 4.0) — evidence of capacity and commitment — includes a demonstration of the program’s capacity for quality, showing the institutional commitment to the program and its parity on common program features (3.1) and that the program has sufficient capacity to meet the academic needs of its candidates (3.2).
