Vice President for State Relations and Membership
Sue Fuhrmann is the vice president for state relations and membership for TEAC, taking that role in 2005, having served as director of membership for TEAC since its inception. Fuhrmann has worked in various capacities at the University of Delaware, coordinating the National Principals’ Leadership Academy and the Delaware Education Research and Development Center. Before coming to the university she was the director of education and membership for the Delaware Chapter of the Associated Builders and Contractors. Her BA is from California Western University, and she holds a MEd from Goucher College in Baltimore, Maryland.
Fuhrmann is responsible for establishing agreements and protocols with states, for TEAC’s process, and for membership development and growth. She also is the point person for members with questions or issues about their accreditation efforts with TEAC and with their states.
