Academic Auditor

Rebecca Pelton
comes to TEAC from a teaching and administrative position at the Village School for Girls in Charlottesville, VA. At the all-girls’ middle school she was responsible for instruction, communications, public relations, program development, and fundraising activities. While there she designed and implemented technology components and integrated curriculum to create an enriched interconnection among core subjects. Prior to her work at the Village School, Pelton was a gifted education specialist at Cale Elementary School in Charlottesville. She earned a MEd from Bowling Green State University and the University of Virginia’s Graduate School of Education and a BFA from Alma College in Michigan. She is currently a doctoral student at the University of Delaware.

Pelton, Staff Auditor, is responsible for coordinating the audit team, assisting in the design of audit tasks, participating as an auditor at TEAC audits, and co-authoring audit reports.
