AUDITORS - Preparing an Audit Report

Within two weeks of the audit visit, the auditors will submit an Audit Report to TEAC and to the program faculty. In their report, the auditors will vouch for the accuracy of the evidence found in the Inquiry Brief. The auditors will not comment on the implication the evidence holds for the accreditation decision. The Audit Report thereafter accompanies the Inquiry Brief throughout the accreditation process. Within two weeks of the receipt of the Audit Report, the program under review has the opportunity to correct any factual errors and may formally respond in writing to the findings of the audit. It is TEAC's philosophy that, throughout all stages of the accreditation process, TEAC and program faculty maintain open and frequent communications on any and all relevant matters. After correcting factual errors and considering any responses by the program faculty, the auditors will submit a final Audit Report to TEAC staff, the program faculty, and the Accreditation Panel.
