Vice President for Audits and Research
Christine Carrino Gorowara comes to TEAC from an assistant professorship in mathematics education in the School of Education at the University of Delaware. While at Delaware and in conjunction with the Mid-Atlantic Center for Mathematics Teaching and Learning (MAC-MTL), an NSF-funded Center for Learning and Teaching, Gorowara collaborated in a continuous revision process for mathematics content courses for pre-service teachers. She also coordinated the data collection and analysis for MAC-MTL lesson studies and other research, and managed the longitudinal assessment component of MAC-MTL. Gorowara has a Master of Science in mathematics from Ohio State University and a PhD in Curriculum and Instruction with a concentration in mathematics education from the University of Delaware.
Gorowara is responsible for overseeing audits, recruiting and training auditors, improving the design of the audit process, and coordinating the Accreditation Panel.
