TEAC accredits 4 new programs
June 25th, 2010At the June 14, 2010, meeting of the TEAC Accreditation Committee in Scottsdale, Arizona, the following programs at the following institutions were accredited:
Lourdes College (Teacher Education Initial Licensure Program), Manhattan College (Teacher Education Program), Montana State University (Northern Plains Transition to Teaching Program), and University of Virginia’s College at Wise (Teacher Education Program).
Four newly accredited TEAC programs
April 1st, 2010At the March 26, 2010, meeting of the TEAC Accreditation Committee in Washington, DC, the following programs at the following institutions received TEAC accreditation:
Alfred University (Teacher Education Program), Colorado State University (Teacher Licensure Program), Randolph College (Teacher Education Program), and Roanoke College (Teacher Licensure Program).
100th program accredited!
October 21st, 2009State University of New York College at Plattsburgh became the 100th program to receive TEAC accreditation on October 19, 2009.
TEAC continues to grow and now has close to 200 members, with 85 as candidates in the “pipeline” for accreditation.

July 18th, 2009At the June 2009 meeting of the Accreditation Committee, the following programs at the following institutions gained TEAC accreditation:
Brevard College (teacher education); College of St. Elizabeth (teacher education & educational leadership); Georgian Court University (teacher education & educational leadership); Rutgers University – New Brunswick (educational leadership); Rutgers University – Newark (urban teacher education); St. Peter’s College (teacher education); Southern Utah University (teacher education & educational leadership)

February 2nd, 2009At the January 2009 meeting of the Accreditation Committee the following programs at the following institutions gained TEAC accreditation:
- Bloomfield College (Teacher Education)
- Michigan State University (Teacher Education)
- Long Island University at Riverhead (Teacher Education)
- Long Island University – Westchester Graduate Campus (Teacher Education)
- Randolph-Macon College (Teacher Education)
- Regent University (Teacher Education and Educational Leadership)
- Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey – Camden (Educational Leadership)
