TEAC
candidate membership
Institutions who have submitted programs to TEAC
for accreditation are candidate members of the Council. TEAC candidate
members in good standing have a single vote, which may be cast at
official meetings.
The members may take action on any matter related
to TEAC's operation, but by action as a group, they may not determine
the accreditation status of any member or modify any aspect of the
accreditation process itself, including the fees associated with
membership and the membership process.
Members may vote on proposals to recommend modification
in TEAC policies concerning revisions to TEAC's accreditation standards,
fees, and processes.
Members are entitled to suggest names of potential TEAC Board members
to the Nominating Committee appointed by the Board of Directors.
Candidate members pay annual dues set by the Board of Directors.
